Floor Staff team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as either variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is to ensure guests receive exceptional service. Floor Staff may work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. All Floor Staff represent Regal consistently with our mission statement and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Handle emergency situations as called upon.
- Perform general cleaning duties.
- Comply with the company dress code.
- Operate POS system and accurately manage cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.
- Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.
- Operate POS system and handle cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and concession stock inventory.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession equipment.
- Upsell/suggestive sell additional items.
- Comply with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
- Maintain current alcohol certification and training where applicable.
- Assist patrons with ticketing, stubs, and seating in auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages as needed.
- Manage crowd control and help guests find seats.
- Enforce MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in‑theatre inspections for picture/sound quality and monitor for film/stolen content.
- Report any problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
- Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows, and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, hallways and other areas.
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of vending equipment.
Assisting with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management.

Education / ExperienceCompletion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
If the theatre sells alcohol and your assigned duties will include the selling/serving of alcohol, it is your responsibility to complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate. In addition, you must complete the Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.

The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
