• Safely transport patients for surgical procedures, using correct identification protocol.
• Assist OR team in the setup of equipment, including transporting machines, tanks, and related peripheral supplies.
• Assist with transferring patients to/from the OR table.
• Assist with holding of the extremities for shave preps and surgical preps.
• Assist with patient positioning in the surgical suite.
• Clean surgical suites between cases.
• Clean and care for equipment when not in use, ensuring equipment remains plugged‑in and covered, verifying all equipment functions properly and reporting machine/equipment malfunctions to the unit Manager/Director.
• Dock Neptune to the docking station after cases as needed.
• Provide support services to staff, including running errands as directed by the RN Circulator or Anesthesiologist (e.g., between lab, supply room, blood bank, etc.) to assist with smooth operation and coordination of care for surgical services patients.
• Comply with all Infection Prevention and Hand Hygiene recommendations.

• High School or GED.
• BLS Certification current.
