Role Overview
The Global Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll processes across Genus’s international operations. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll distribution, compliance with country‑specific regulations, and alignment with company policies and processes. The manager coordinates with regional HR and finance teams to handle payroll discrepancies, tax filings, and benefits administration where appropriate. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex global payroll systems efficiently are essential.
This role is critical to maintaining employee satisfaction and financial accuracy on a global scale.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000 USD (estimates)
Location: Remote with preference to US Central or Eastern time zones; ideal proximity to Nashville, TN or Madison, WI.
You Will- Be accountable for the performance and results of a payroll team within your discipline.
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
- Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and the business plan.
- Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of payroll concepts, theories, and principles.
- Manage a team of professionals and/or supervisors; adapt plans and priorities to meet service and operational challenges.
- Impact the level of service and the team’s ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectives.
- 2+ years of leadership experience and conflict resolution.
- 5+ years of payroll administration experience.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations with a willingness to stay current with changes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
