Pay: $20.86/hr - $39.00/hr (base) + $15,000 Sign On Bonus available for qualifying candidates.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, utilizes therapeutic communication, maintains a safe therapeutic environment, and identifies nursing problems as they relate to individual patient needs. The nurse also plans individualized care, participates in performance improvement activities, and coordinates care to align with the hospital’s mission and vision.
Responsibilities- Utilize therapeutic communication in daily practice, maintain a safe therapeutic environment, and identify nursing problems as they relate to individual patient needs.
- Demonstrate age‑specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients.
- Ensure privacy of patients and confidentiality of PHI.
- Use the nursing process for individualized care and document all patient care.
- Perform technical skills, follow procedures, and demonstrate critical thinking.
- Provide care and coordinate participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statement.
- B.S. or A.S. from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- 1 year of RN experience.
- Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN basic, intermediate, and advanced certification required within specified time frames.
- CPI Training & Certification required within 6 months.
- Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or Compact State.
