Must have : 1 year critical care experience, Meditech experience, ACLS, NIH certification

Advanced skills needed: Ability to manage: arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths/cardiovascular & vasopressor drips/ventilated patients

Procedures performed on unit: Bedside central line placement, Massive transfusion protocol,

Unit Specifics:
· Number of Beds: 20
· Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients (Patient ratios are estimated and not guaranteed)
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :
Unit secretary on days & nights, occasional tech help
· Type of equipment: GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators
· Documentation system:
Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: 36 hours/wk, 3 weekend shifts/4 weeks
· Floating policy:
Contract labor floats before core staff
· Patient Experience requirements: at least 1 year critical care
