American Traveler is hiring a Weekends-Only RN for a Coronary Care Unit position requiring critical care experience, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certification.

• Critical Care/Coronary Care Unit (CCU) setting with 20 beds
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for CCU patients
• Unit secretary support on days and nights with occasional tech help
• Uses GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators, including a recent GE monitor upgrade
• Documentation via Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekends-only position requiring 36 hours/week with 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
• Contract labor floats before core staff
• Performs bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current ACLS and NIH Stroke certification required
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience required
• Meditech documentation system experience required
• Advanced skills managing arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Highest level of care unit in Sumner County
• Facility is a Clinical Transformation & Innovation (CT&I) alpha hub focused on leveraging technology to reduce EHR time and increase patient care time
• Flexible scheduling options available
• Black scrubs required as part of dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
