We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Crew Leader to oversee and manage our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves supervising the crew, ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance, and executing various landscaping tasks, including garden care, tree care, and irrigation management.

• Supervise and lead a team of landscapers in daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
• Plan, build, and maintain various landscape projects, including gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
• Train new crew members on landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Monitor crew performance and provide feedback to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any issues that require repair or replacement.

  • Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including plant care, irrigation systems, and turf management.
  • Ability to supervise a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions while lifting heavy materials as needed.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred for the transportation of crew members and equipment to job sites.
• Work Environment:
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to the Hendersonville location (transportation to job sites is provided).
• Physical requirements:
  • Ability to endure long periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift 15–50 lbs. frequently and up to 90 lbs. occasionally.
