The Construction Crew Member is a critical part of the team and reports directly to the Construction Crew Leader. This role supports the team and company goals by assisting with a variety of landscape construction tasks as needed to ensure high-quality project execution.
Duties and Responsibilities- Installation and maintenance of plants, trees, shrubs, turf, and irrigation systems.
- Hardscape installation (patios, retaining walls, walkways).
- Seasonal tasks (mulching, leaf removal, snow/ice management).
- Routine equipment inspections, light maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Proficient operation of lawn mowing and other landscape machinery.
- Follow all safety policies and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform other activities as assigned to support the team and company goals.
- Experience Level:
- Entry‑level candidates are welcome; prior landscaping or maintenance experience is a plus.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and external partners.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Work Environment:
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to the Hendersonville location (transportation to job sites is provided).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete an I‑9 Employment Eligibility Verification form.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to endure long periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Ability to lift 15–50 lbs. frequently and up to 90 lbs. occasionally.
