The Prep Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing a variety of food products—including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads, and other items—using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. The Prep Cook performs minor machine maintenance, prepares ingredients for production, and may assign overall production when needed. Responsibilities also include final plate preparation, plating and garnishing cooked items, and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu plates.

• Must pass the federally mandated E‑verify process.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation.
• At least 1 year of experience in a professional restaurant kitchen.
• Understand proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work standing for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Conduct yourself professionally in a high‑paced environment.
