Job Description

Join Target as a General Merchandise and Food Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. You will lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store.

The ideal candidate will have a welcoming and helpful attitude, ability to communicate effectively, and be able to work both independently and with a team. You will be responsible for executing daily tasks, receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices to products, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
