In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth process of all Greenroof components being delivered to the end customer. The primary duties will include creating and editing sales orders, fulfillment of sales orders, contacting sales reps, end customers, vendors and freight handlers. Setting up shipments and deliveries. Creating and editing vendor purchase orders.
Duties& Functions
- Creating/Editing/fulfillment Sales Orders
- Create Sales Order by entering all correct order information from customer purchase order.
- Make additions, deletions, and corrections to sales orders, including quantity change, address corrections, pricing corrections, and contact information.
- Contact Sales Reps/End customers/Vendors/Freight Handlers
- Communicate with sales department regarding new, old, and upcoming orders.
- Communicate with end customer regarding all aspects of customer order, address and contact info for correct shipping and delivery of product.
- Communicate with vendors regarding ordering and drop shipments of products.
- Communicate with freight handlers to schedule freight pickup and delivery.
- Create Vendor Purchase Orders
- Create and edit vendor purchase orders, including drop shipment of products, freight shipment and delivery.
- Respond quickly to all vendor requests.
- Ensure purchase order match vendor cost.
- Proper Record keeping for all Customer Orders
- Keep records of all customer orders, shipping documents and vendor related drop shipments.
- Keep shipment logs updated per shipment/fulfillment.
- Assist Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Team
- Communicate with AR team to assist with customer billing issues.
- Communicate with AR team to assist with vendor billing issues.
- Support customer sample request
- Facilitate customer sample request as needed.
- Support sample inventory as needed.
- Previous experience with customer service, purchase orders, and vendor drop shipments preferred.
- Strong computer skills to include MS Office Suite
- Problem-solving skills and excellent time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
- Individuals must be dependable, have good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to interact and communicate with others at all levels.
- Must be able to multi-task and problem solve fast and effectively.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team.
- Must have demonstrated initiative to complete responsibilities.
