The Irrigation Technician works alongside the maintenance crew, providing outstanding service to our clients. Essential duties include installing and servicing irrigation systems. Other tasks may include maintaining sprinklers, water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves, service equipment, and other hands‑on tasks related to the business.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Solve minor sprinkler problems (wire valves, fix leaks, mend broken sprinkler heads) to make systems work properly
• Perform general and seasonal system maintenance
• Effectively assess water efficiency and make adjustments to correct over‑ or under‑watering issues
• Keep work vehicle and equipment clean and organized
• Properly service and maintain all equipment
• Solve outdoor lighting issues and perform installations
• Carefully follow all policies and best practices to ensure a safe work environment
• Perform such other activities as may be temporarily or permanently assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working with irrigation systems and outdoor lighting technician jobs are required
  • Ability to interact professionally with all customers, team members, and from external organizations
  • Organized and able to work alone
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Education & Certifications
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License issued by a U.S. State or Territory.
• Work Environment:
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to the Hendersonville location (transportation to job sites is provided).
• Physical requirements:
  • Ability to endure long periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift 15–50 lbs. frequently and up to 90 lbs. occasionally.
