Job Description

TPF Recruitment are delighted to be representing a well‑established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Henley. The firm is seeking an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior to join their growing Audit & Assurance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in a supportive and progressive environment, with exposure to a wide range of clients and industries.

As an Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality audit and accounting services to a varied client base, while working closely with both colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements
  • Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and other financial reports
  • Carrying out audit testing and risk assessments in line with regulatory standards
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact for queries
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service delivery
  • Supporting senior colleagues on ad‑hoc assignments and project work
  • Staying up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards
Requirements
  • Part‑qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a solid foundation in audit and accounts
  • Experience with in a professional practice environment
  • Strong knowledge of audit principles and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem‑solving skills
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively both independently and in a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages
