Audit Assistant Manager

• Managing and undertaking statutory audits from planning to completion
• Taking responsibility for the audit and team management to ensure completion within the agreed budget
• Acting as the principal contact for the client during on‑site fieldwork
• Delivering high‑quality work to tight deadlines
• Supervising audit teams on site, reviewing the work of the team and contributing to the development of junior team members
• Managing and leading assurance and risk‑management projects, liaising with clients and preparing client reports

• ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1–2 years post‑qualified experience
• Significant experience in a UK accountancy practice environment
• Fully up to date with UK audit and accounting standards
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work under own initiative and meet tight deadlines
• Good general IT skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience managing and nurturing junior team members
