This is a key role within our fast-growing Audit department in Henley — you won’t be a cog in a machine, but a trusted member of the team, playing an important part in the continued growth and success of both the department and the firm.

• Part Qualified ACA or ACCA.Minimum 3 years working in practice
• Excellent in applying technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP
• A positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Experienced in using audit software and statutory accounts software
• Highly personable with excellent communication skills

• complete audit testing on site at clients’ premises
• supervise small teams
• apply professional scepticism and judgment to audit work
• maintain audit quality standards as required by Audit Regulations and Verallo internal policies
• pro‑active dedication to professional growth through training and experience opportunities
• prepare statutory accounts and draft tax computations
• management of own work and assignments to deadlines and within budget to identify, research and analyse accounting/audit issues and propose solutions
• work closely with the audit partner and audit manager
