Job OpportunityShiplake College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Physical Education to join our thriving Sports Department and cover a period of maternity leave for up to one year. This position is to start in January 2027 with flexibility for a December 2026 commencement.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator to teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will engage and motivate students of all abilities, encouraging participation, enjoyment and achievement both within lessons and through the wider sporting programme.
As a valued member of our community, you will contribute to all aspects of College life, including fixtures, co-curricular activities and tutorial responsibilities, embracing the unique opportunities offered by a boarding school environment.

About Shiplake CollegeShiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 620 pupils aged 11 to 18. There has been a co-educational Sixth Form since 1998 and since September 2023 girls have been welcomed into Year 7 as the College became fully co-educational.
