What You’ll Be Doing- Lead and manage the end-to-end corporate tax compliance cycle. Oversee the preparation and review of corporation tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output.
- Support and deliver a broad range of advisory engagements, including group restructures, R&D claims, international and UK tax planning, loss utilisation, and transactional tax support. Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex and strategic work.
- Provide clear, practical, and commercially-focused tax advice to SMEs, OMBs, and larger corporates, offering tailored solutions that support clients’ long-term commercial objectives.
- Mentor and develop junior team members. Review work, offer guidance, and help shape the next generation of tax talent while contributing to a positive and knowledge-sharing team culture.
- Build and strengthen trusted client relationships, acting as a key point of contact, attending meetings, identifying opportunities, and helping clients navigate the complexities of the UK corporate tax landscape.
- ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with 3+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally gained within practice.
- Strong technical corporate tax knowledge, particularly with SME and OMB clients, and confidence in handling both compliance and advisory work.
- A proactive self-starter comfortable working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, able to manage deadlines, juggle multiple engagements, and clearly articulate advice to colleagues and clients.
