AboutThe Role
We have an opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our growing Thames Valley tax team. We have seen a 66% increase in headcount since March 2020 and have recently relocated to newer larger offices to accommodate the growth in the tax team, as well as wider client service teams. As a result of this – and our commitment to further growth – this role comes with natural opportunities for progression.

You will work closely with the tax partners delivering UK and cross-border project-based work, oversee larger and complex compliance work for a portfolio of existing clients—ranging from owner‑managed companies to listed groups across a variety of industry sectors—and be involved in business development initiatives and work with the team to generate new work.
You should be qualified ACA/CTA (or equivalent) with notable achievements that demonstrate extensive practical tax experience. This includes managing compliance for large groups, delivering advisory projects such as group restructures, interest deductibility analysis, capital allowance projects, and dealing with HMRC enquiries, queries and correspondence. You will work as part of a team, liaising with other tax specialists, audit and corporate finance colleagues while using your own initiative.

- ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification essential.
- Significant Corporate Tax and accounting experience on a range of advisory and compliance projects.

- Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients and contacts, including corporate taxes, VAT, personal taxes, payroll taxes, corporate finance support, etc.
- Act at all times with the Firm’s best interests in mind and act with integrity in all dealings.
- Demonstrate understanding of the different types of risk and the Firm’s approach to managing risk in relevant business and applicable legal/regulatory rules, and follow policies.
- Consider and manage risk (reputational, operational and credit) in all interactions with clients.
- Show a sense of urgency and understand how your work (including speed, attention to detail, and quality) impacts the Firm’s ability to serve clients.
