Job Summary

Temporary Part‑Time Dispenser – cover maternity leave at the end of January 2026.

Hours:

09:00‑17:00 Monday/Tuesday, 09:00‑13:00 Wednesday.

Location:

Nettlebed Surgery, Wanbourne Lane, Henley‑on‑Thames, RG9 5AJ

• Process prescriptions using EMIS clinical system and Dispensit.
• Place orders for stock, process deliveries and controlled drug deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and manage prescription enquiries.
• Operate Pharmaself
  24 Dispensing Kiosk and manage patient details on Pharmaself Manager platform.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment.

• Level 2 NVQ in Dispensing or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Dispenser in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced NHS environment.
• Knowledge of NHS regulations and dispensing procedures is a plus.

• Experience of working with EMIS Web.
• Understanding of CQC requirements and Information Governance principles.
• Computer literacy and formal qualification at NVQ2 or NVQ3 level.

Fixed‑term, 9 months, part‑time, salary depends on experience.
