Bar Assistant

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where teamwork and professionalism are highly valued. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

• Welcome customers warmly and take their orders efficiently
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper recording of sales
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including glasses, garnishes, and beverages
• Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any queries or concerns promptly

• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately
• Knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as required
• A professional attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service
