Bio‑Rad is looking for a Credit & Collection Associate to join its Corporate Accounting team. In this role you will make 50 to 60 outgoing calls a day, interact directly with customers, and review credit limit increases.

• Work on reductions of past‑due receivables.
• Provide internal and external customer service.
• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure correct balances.
• Increase profit by decreasing bad debt.
• Perform credit management.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field preferred. Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with at least 2 years of accounting experience may substitute.
• Work Experience:
  
  5+ years of commercial collection experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Excellent time‑management and self‑management skills.
• Knowledge of collection laws.
• Strong internal and external customer service skills.
• Understanding of how to read, understand and utilize a Dun & Bradstreet report.
• Knowledge of audited financial statements – what they look like and what to look for.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $46,800 to $64,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and company performance.
