We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionists will work with producers to design feeding programs that are specific to their operations.

Position Summary

Livestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for motivated production laborers to join our team. We are currently hiring mill production operators, including light equipment operators, who can work with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Ensure the mill is kept clean, including the grounds surrounding the mill.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks are completed.
  • Assist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff, contractors, and Project Manager requests.
  • Assist in maximizing the efficiency of the mill and crew.
  • Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients and ensure ingredient quality meets LNC standards.
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment, following proper training for all equipment.
  • Ensure company safety practices are followed, along with OSHA standards.
  • Perform any other related operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, or front‑end loaders preferred.
  • Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat or cold.
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Some weekends required in winter months.
  • Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.
