Bookings Administrator Hereford Hospital | Permanent Contract | Full Time | £25,038.00 per annum 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for an Outpatient Bookings Administrator in our hospital who will be responsible for administering a large volume of email requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring the hospital meets its service deliverables whilst exceeding customer expectations. Preferably you will hold a NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent and experience of working in a customer facing environment, to help us build a healthier nation.
Asa Bookings Administrator, you will:
- Bring empathy, sympathy and sensitivity to the role.
- Ensure complex administration and support, meets the required standards and timescales
- Have attention to detail ensuring all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
- To prepare standard and ad-hoc reports as required and required by the department
- Co-ordinate availability of rooms and consultants
- Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs
- To handle queries within the remit of own role, escalating more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required.
- To provide a friendly efficient service, which involves customer contact both face to face on the telephone and via email, and provides advice within remit of role.
