We are seeking a highly skilled Master Vehicle Technician to join a leading UK automotive retailer at their franchise-approved dealership in Hereford. The successful Master Vehicle Technician will be instrumental in delivering high-quality repairs and servicing, mentoring colleagues, and working on complex vehicle systems.

Duties of a Master Vehicle Technician
  • Conduct accurate diagnostics and repairs to a high standard, ensuring adherence to manufacturer, retailer, and industry guidelines
  • Undertake complex vehicle servicing and electrical/mechanical repairs
  • Mentor and support junior team members with diagnostics, repairs, and technical training
  • Work efficiently within a busy franchise-approved dealership environment
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair solutions
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
  • Assist with ongoing training and development activities
Requirements of a Master Vehicle Technician
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Master Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical vehicle systems
  • Exposure to complex diagnostics and repairs
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
  • A team player with a mentoring mindset and supportive attitude
  • Own tools suitable for a professional workshop environment
