Site Supervisor - Highways Maintenance
Join a leading highways maintenance team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality infrastructure. As a Site Supervisor, you'll help keep communities moving while ensuring our teams work safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
You'll lead daily operations across our depots, making sure resources are used effectively and our gangs remain productive. Working closely with clients, colleagues and supply chain partners, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on contract performance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily site activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and HSEQ standards.
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor resources to maximise productivity and support efficient delivery.
- Ensure Construction Phase Plans, method statements and safe systems of work are in place, briefed and maintained before work starts.
- Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, resource allocations, records of works and as-built information.
- Support the Area Manager with construction programmes, buildability advice, change management and traffic management requirements.
- Experience in a site supervision role within highways maintenance, construction or a related infrastructure environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, with a commitment to safe working practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate site teams, subcontractors and resources to deliver work efficiently and to programme.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage challenges, support productivity and maintain accurate documentation.
