Our Client has a highly capable Haematology team, and they want a passionate Haematologist to join them.
You will be entitled to a generous Recruitment Bonus of up to £20K plus a Relocation Bonus based on your geographical location!
Our NHS client is a progressive and forward thinking team with ambitious plans to improve the quality of our service.
They are actively seeking an additional Consultant Haematologist to join their current team and consolidate a sustainable consultant delivered service. Candidates with wide general training in Haematology are the priority, and special skills to support or complement the existing consultants would be welcomed. There is flexibility within the department to accommodate the skills of the successful candidates.
1 day a week is available for virtual working – enjoy the perfect blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.
- On-call:
Level A – 1 in 4 basis currently (5% supplement) - Virtual Working: 1 day per week available for virtual working
- Hands on clinical involvement, working closely with other Consultant Haematologists and Associate Specialists
- Participation and attendance at joint MDT with WAT
- Taking on a lead role in an area of interest, including participation on appropriate Trust committees
- Participate in clinical trials and become Principle Investigator for appropriate studies
- Liaising and developing working policies with relevant hospital departments, GPs, and other health professionals
- Teaching and training students and medical staff at all levels
- Active participation in clinical audit activities
- On-call commitment on a 1 in 4 basis
- Hold full GMC Registration with a licence to practise
- Hold MRCP or equivalent
- Hold FRCPath or equivalent
- Be on the Specialist Register in Haematology via one of the following:
- Certificate of Training (CCT) – or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview
- Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)
- European Community Rights
