SEND Tutors Required (Alternative Provision - Hereford Area)

We are seeking qualified teachers and experienced tutors to deliver 1-to-1 and small group tuition to pupils in and around Hereford
.

This work supports young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education or who require additional support due to SEND and/or SEMH needs
. Tuition may be delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid format
.

Multiple positions are available, with ongoing referrals from schools and local authorities.

You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Deliver tuition across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 (depending on experience)
• Work with students with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs
• Sessions may take place in homes, schools, community settings, or online
• Flexible part‑time to near full‑time opportunities depending on demand

Pupils May Present With

• SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal
• Autism (ASC), ADHD
• MLD, SLD, or PMLD

A calm, adaptable and trauma-informed approach is essential.

• QTS xlqdzyr / QTLS or strong relevant tutoring experience
• Experience with SEND or alternative provision learners
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references
• Safeguarding awareness
• Ability to travel locally
