Teaching Assistant

Axcis Education is currently searching for a special Educational needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. Axcis Education is working on behalf of schools in the Herefordshire area for a range of long term and short term roles. We are currently searching for a long term placement, in a Primary school Monday to Friday 8:30-4pm during term time only, with a September 3rd start date.

You would be working in a 1 form entry Primary school, working 121 with a student in year 5 that requires support in and out of the classroom.

Your role would include, sitting in class keeping them on task, supervising lunch and break times and supporting with extra curriculars. You may be asked to attend additional meetings/parent evenings for your input on the childs development.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is really looking to make a difference to this child’s final years at primary school. We are looking for someone with experience working with children, potentially in a support based role, or alternative care.

The pay for this role is £14.25 per hour.
