Lecturer in Engineering

We are seeking a Full Time Lecturer/Course Tutor in Engineering to deliver modules to students aged 16‑19, engineering apprentices and HNC students at the Folly Lane campus in Hereford. The role involves teaching modules such as Analogue Electronics, Electronic Devices & Circuits, Electronic Circuit Construction, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Digital Electronics. Delivering subjects in Automation, Robotics and Control Technologies is an advantage.

• Teach assigned modules and prepare teaching materials.
• Mark, assess and provide feedback on student work.
• Provide course tutorship, student welfare and counselling.
• Carry out associated organisational and administrative processes.
• Participate fully in faculty and college activities to support the college mission and objectives.

• Fully qualified with a minimum of an HNC in engineering.
• Relevant work/industrial experience in the engineering industry.
• Teaching experience is desirable but not essential; candidates willing to train towards teaching are welcome.
• Can work full‑time, but fractional arrangements will be considered.
