Are you passionate about English for Speakers of Other Languages and providing learners with the language skills, confidence and opportunities to progress in education, employment and their communities?

We are seeking an ESOL Lecturer to deliver across our established Adult ESOL provision and our new 16-19 full-time ESOL programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join and help develop a growing area of provision, supporting learners with a wide range of language needs, backgrounds and aspirations.

This role will allow you to deliver engaging and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment whilst ensuring we provide an outstanding experience for all learners. You will become part of a supportive team committed to helping every student develop their English language skills and achieve their potential.

Our ESOL provision supports both adult learners and young people aged 16-19. With established Adult provision and the introduction of a new full-time 16-19 programme, this role will contribute to the continued growth and development of ESOL across the College.

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching ESOL and a recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, or be willing to work towards an appropriate qualification. You will have a strong understanding of effective ESOL teaching, learning and assessment and the ability to engage, motivate and support learners from a diverse range of backgrounds and starting points.
