We are now recruiting for a Client Fund Analyst to join our dedicated Client Fund Management team based in Hereford. You will be part of a friendly, professional, and highly detail‑focused team who pride themselves on accuracy, robust controls, and delivering exceptional service. Reporting to the Client Fund Management Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing end‑to‑end payment processing, financial reconciliations, chargebacks, and operational finance support across the business.
Responsibilities- Manage payment submissions, ensuring data accuracy, timely processing, and correct settlement alignment.
- Perform daily reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and produce accurate reports to maintain the integrity of client funds and scheme balances.
- Provide first‑line support and guidance for financial data processing systems.
- Ensure fund movements remain accurate and compliant, escalating risks where appropriate.
- Support improvements to financial processes and documentation by reviewing, testing, and helping to develop clear, user‑friendly guides.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, supporting wider finance operations and business continuity when required.
Essential
- GCSE level or equivalent in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage clearly with both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Positive, proactive approach to change and continuous improvement.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable
- Knowledge of FCA CASS rules and/or payment scheme rules (Bacs, Visa, Mastercard).
- Experience in financial services, e‑money operations, or prepaid programme management.
- Advanced data analysis experience.
