Please note:
Working pattern is 9-5 Monday to Friday, with required overtime until 7pm to accommodate late nights on a rota basis. Case Administrators play a vital support role in probation teams, helping to keep the public safe and giving individuals the chance to turn their lives around.
If you are successful in the recruitment process and join the Probation Service, your starting salary will be £24,645.
Overview of the jobThis is an administrative role within the Probation Service that supports probation staff to work with people on probation.

- Ensure all processes run efficiently and systems are maintained properly.
- Collate and prepare probation information for case files.
- Use strong communication skills to handle enquiries from colleagues, agencies and people on probation in a busy environment.
- Annual leave: 25 days on appointment, increasing to 30 days after five years’ service, plus public holidays.
