Join our dedicated team at Hereford Hospital NHS Trust as a key contributor to the Sterile Services Department.
In this vital role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of sterile supplies, supporting the hospital’s clinical activities, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

What You’ll Do- Ensure accurate and efficient processing, packing, and tracing of medical instruments using the T‑DOC system.
- Adhere to manual handling procedures and use correct PPE when lifting trays or manoeuvring heavy theatre bins to maintain safety.
- Maintain high levels of concentration during tray packing, machine operations, and checks to ensure quality and safety.
- Follow health and safety regulations and report any defective equipment or damage promptly.
- Assist with receipt, storage, and supply of consumables and sterile items to departments as needed.
- Support the development and use of the T‑DOC system for equipment tracking and traceability.
- Work as part of a team, contributing to service development and undertaking additional duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment through daily housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
