Senior Care Assistant - Female

Job Summary

This is a Home Care Assistant role operating in clients’ own homes. The position is restricted to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 because it involves providing personal care to women, preserving their dignity and privacy.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and toileting while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Help with everyday activities including feeding, mobility and light housekeeping.
• Provide comfort, reassurance and support to promote independence and well‑being.
• Record care activities accurately and follow care plans.
• Work flexible hours, including alternate weekend shifts as required.

• No prior experience required – full training provided.
• Ability to develop to QCF Level 5 through training and support.
