Rehabilitation Specialist – Hereford Hospital | Fitness | Permanent | Full time | Up to £27,985.32 per annum depending on experience | 37.5 hours per week

• Deliver Nuffield Health Rehabilitation Programmes utilising the pathway, championing the Charitable Purpose, including weekly 1to1s, group exercise classes (virtual and in person), goal setting and self-directed activity.
• Organise and run rolling 12-week rehabilitation programmes.
• Facilitate and deliver both live stream and in person group exercise classes, with participants of varying abilities and physical function.
• Promote self-directed activity using pre-recorded on-demand classes and a journal to aid self-management after the programme.
• Calibrate exercises and intensities based on regular improvements, tracking changes in effort and performance.
• Identify deterioration of participants and follow internal escalation processes, ensuring reporting is processed within required time frames and outcome data is accurately captured.
• Engage in weekly 1to1 telephone conversations with each participant to offer coaching on short-term and long-term goals, understand restrictions, monitor progress, provide emotional wellbeing support, and empower self-directed activity.

• Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential).
• Excellent IT skills.
• Experience in rehabilitation preferred; a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation is desirable but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, decision-making, time and resource management skills.
• Ability to work with vulnerable adults; good English and numeracy skills.
