Arguile Search is partnering with an innovative defence technology business to recruit a Head of Supply Chain Operations & Procurement
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader to take ownership of procurement, supply chain operations and demand planning within a growing, high-technology manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in shaping strategy, leading a high-performing team and ensuring the business continues to deliver to customers operating in highly regulated markets.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you'll be responsible for leading the Supply Chain and Demand Planning function, developing long-term strategy while ensuring day-to-day operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing the Supply Chain and Demand Planning team.
  • Creating and implementing supply chain strategy to support business growth.
  • Driving procurement best practice, governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Managing supplier performance, risk and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Technical, Commercial and Operations teams to optimise supply chain performance.
  • Ensuring efficient planning, inventory management and demand forecasting.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce cost and increase resilience across the supply chain.
About You

We're keen to speak with experienced supply chain leaders who have:

  • Proven leadership experience within Supply Chain, Procurement or Demand Planning.
  • Experience with in electronics, advanced manufacturing, defence, aerospace or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK public procurement regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience developing supply chain strategy while maintaining operational delivery.
  • Strong systems knowledge, including Microsoft Office and supply chain planning tools.
