Overview
Are you a hands-on individual with a knack for maintaining buildings and grounds? We're seeking a proactive individual to join our existing team of facilities and grounds staff at our Hereford Campus on Folly Lane.
Responsibilities- Securing buildings and operating alarm systems.
- Conducting general maintenance and repairs.
- Carrying out Estates health and safety checks.
- Monitoring site cleanliness and supplies.
- Assisting with porterage and deliveries.
- Practical skills in identifying and carrying out minor repairs.
- An understanding of basic health and safety.
- Self-motivated and organised, able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, friendly and approachable.
- Able to take pride in the appearance and condition of the site, both internally and externally, paying particular attention to the buildings and surrounding environment.
- Full UK, manual driving licence.
This is a full-time, permanent role of 37 hours per week, operating on a rolling three-week shift pattern alongside other Estates staff, currently:
- Week 1:
Mon - Fri: 7:00am – 3:00pm - Week 2:
Mon - Fri: 8:00am – 4:00pm - Week 3:
Mon, Thu, Fri: 11:00am – 7:00pm;
Tue, Wed: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
