Claire at Amber Mace is working on behalf of a respected care provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for a well‑established residential care service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, motivated leader with a strong background in care management and a proven record of driving high standards and compliance.
The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day operational management of the home, ensuring safe, person‑centred care that meets all regulatory requirements. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and be accountable for the overall performance of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of the service, including care, admin, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and achieve strong inspection outcomes
- Recruit, lead, and develop staff, providing regular supervisions and appraisals
- Maintain and monitor quality assurance systems, audits, and care plans
- Manage the service budget, occupancy levels, and financial performance
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and health and safety across the service
- Participate in the on‑call rota as required
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - Essential
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or equivalent senior role
- Strong understanding of CQC standards with a proven track record of 'Good' or above ratings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and audits within a residential care setting
- Ability to develop strategic plans and deliver continuous service improvement
- Experience working with service users with complex or additional support needs - Desirable
- Salary of £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
