We are seeking a driven and experienced Manufacturing Continuous Improvement Lead / Process Engineer to join our team in Hereford. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance, improving quality, and driving operational excellence across a growing organisation.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing departments, ensuring processes are efficient, standardised, and aligned with quality and safety standards, while supporting teams to embed lasting change.

Key Responsibilities

Lead improvement projects to reduce product variability through standardised processes and strong procedural controls
Support manufacturing teams with the implementation and sustainability of new and improved processes
Develop, monitor, and analyse key manufacturing metrics to identify improvement opportunities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and best practice methodologies
Conduct advanced troubleshooting, identifying root causes and areas of non-compliance
Train and mentor team members to strengthen problem-solving and process adherence capabilities
Lead programmes that improve product quality and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Manage new product introduction (NPI), ensuring smooth transition from design through to full-scale production

About You

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment delivering process improvements and operational solutions
Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
Strong understanding of ISO/BSI standards and quality systems
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to drive change and successfully implement improvement initiatives
