6:00am – 2:00pm
2:00pm – 10:00pm
10:00pm – 6:00am
Pay: £13.60–£15.24 per hour (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced production professional with leadership skills? We're looking for a Line Leader to oversee our extrusion production line, ensuring safe, efficient operations while leading a team to achieve quality and production targets.
The Role
As a Line Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day running of the extrusion line, supporting your team, and ensuring production is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of Production Operatives on the extrusion line.
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of extrusion machinery.
Ensure production schedules and daily targets are achieved.
Monitor product quality and ensure company standards are maintained.
Carry out routine machine checks and coordinate basic maintenance activities.
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate machine or production issues where required.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are followed.
Train, support, and develop team members to improve performance.
Complete production documentation and shift handovers accurately.
Promote a positive, collaborative working environment.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Line Leader, Team Leader, or Senior Production Operative within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with extrusion machinery is highly desirable.
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work a weekly rotating three-shift pattern (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am).
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and maintaining high quality standards.
