Weekend Hygiene Operative

About the Role

Do you want to earn a minimum of £295 per week? We’re recruiting for Weekend Hygiene Operatives to join the team at our site in Hereford, Herefordshire. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play an instrumental part in achieving the required hygiene standards with the Hygiene team for Avara Foods. You will adhere to health and safety at all times and follow all tasks in line with food safety rules.

• £13.67 per hour
• Additional £2.46 shift allowance per hour
• Paid weekly

• Earn a minimum of £295 per week

Saturday: 18:00 to 06:00
Sunday: 18:00 to 02:00

• Understanding and attainment of both individual and department targets.
• Awareness of the usage of material and energy sources.
• Cooperate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
• Manual handling of plant and equipment.
• Isolation of plant and machinery.
• Meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team.
• Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines.
• Carry out instructions given by your Team Leader/Management.

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience with in a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Due to Bird Welfare, you must not own any avian pets or poultry.
