As a Staff Nurse in our Outpatients at our Hereford Hospital, it’s vital that your a Registered Nurse. You bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC, as well as post-registration experience. You’re passionate about patient care and it shows.

As a Outpatients Staff Nurse, you will:

• Dealing with patients have have undergone a variety of operations including Orthopedic, General Surgery , Colorectal , Urological , Gynaecology , Cosmetic and Plastic surgery .
• You will be familiar with Venipuncture , ECG recording and demonstrate good communication skills.
• Computer skills and professionalism in communicating with Consultant Surgeons and Anesthetists is essential
• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron led care in a consultant-led service
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
• Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates:
Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
