QC Analyst – Hereford

Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm | Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm

Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour

Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent

We are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a busy and growing quality control team based in Hereford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory or quality control experience looking for a long‑term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

• Carry out routine analytical testing and organoleptic assessment of raw materials
• Issue certificates of analysis for products
• Communicate test results with Production, Development, and Purchasing teams
• Support Production with technical and quality-related queries
• Maintain accurate laboratory and computer records
• Maintain, check, and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Ensure all laboratory work is completed in line with health & safety and good laboratory practices
• Support food safety, quality, integrity, and legal compliance standards
• Review batch production and laboratory control records
• Assist with QC release of packed products
• Approve or reject raw materials, intermediates, and finished products where required
• Support validation protocols, quality reviews, and quality assurance procedures

• Previous experience within a laboratory, QC, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and adaptable approach to work
• Understanding of quality standards and procedures is advantageous

• Consistent Monday to Friday working hours
