The EE Retail Guide role is a part‑time, on‑site position based in Hereford. In this role, you will welcome customers to the store, listen to their needs, and provide clear, friendly guidance on EE products, services, and plans. You will demonstrate devices and connectivity solutions, explain features and benefits in everyday language, and support customers in finding the right package for their lifestyle and budget.
You will handle sales and service transactions accurately, set up new devices, and help customers understand their bills and account options. Day to day, you will also maintain store standards, keep displays up to date, and work closely with colleagues to achieve individual and team targets while delivering an inclusive, positive experience for every visitor.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities, with confidence in speaking to a wide range of people and building rapport in person.
- Experience in retail, sales, or a similar customer‑facing environment, with comfort working toward goals or performance targets.
- Interest in mobile devices, connectivity, and digital services, with the ability to learn product features and explain them in simple terms.
- Solid problem‑solving and listening skills, with a focus on understanding customer needs and finding suitable solutions.
- Ability to work on‑site in Hereford on a part‑time, flexible schedule, including weekends and peak trading times.
- Reliable teamwork and time management skills, with a proactive approach to keeping the store organized and welcoming.
- Basic numeracy and IT skills to manage transactions, systems, and customer accounts accurately.
- Previous experience in telecoms or technology retail is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
