Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexibility to work fewer hours down to 12.
The availability windows above are when we would like you to be available. We schedule your contracted hours within these times and give you three weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability closely matches but does not exactly match, we may still consider you.

- Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride.
- Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
- Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Putting into practice the training you have received, so we all work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.

- Participating in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Being knowledgeable about the store's performance, understanding the part you play and helping to drive service, sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Being yourself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome and always following our policies.
- At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
- A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
- The ability to build rapport with customers, ensuring they leave the store having experienced a great shopping trip.
