We are recruiting a temporary retail assistant for our shop in Hereford, Herefordshire. The role is a permanent part‑time position with a minimum of 12 hours across 3 days per week, including weekend shifts.

• Hourly pay: £10.95 for ages 16‑20, £12.81 for ages 21+

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Assist customers in locating items.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care, including deliveries, placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for sale.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, and hardworking approach.
• Enjoy being busy with varied tasks such as deliveries, till service, shop floor assistance, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable and a valuable part of a small team – punctual and dependable on each shift.
• Flexible with shifts; able to cover for team members during their vacations, understanding that rota’s are planned 3 weeks in advance.
• Good communication skills to support customers and colleagues.
