Parts Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Herefordshire, seeking an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor. Working hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Duties of a Parts Advisor:

Dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales
Accurately identifying parts requirements and ensuring correct parts are ordered, picked, and dispatched
Maintaining and controlling stock levels of vehicle parts
Conducting parts sales face-to-face, via email, and over the phone
Supplying parts efficiently to vehicle technicians within the workshop
Using electronic parts catalogue systems effectively for daily operations
Providing outstanding customer service and sales support in a high-paced environment
Collaborating with team members to maintain smooth workshop operations

Requirements of a Parts Advisor:

Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Parts Advisor within an automotive environment
Previous experience with commercial vehicle parts is advantageous but not essential
IT literate, with proficiency in electronic parts catalogue systems
Methodical, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong customer service and sales skills with a friendly, charismatic manner
Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy dealership setting
