This is an opportunity to join a service focused on meaningful relationship-based practice, early intervention, and collaborative support.
You’ll work directly with families to create positive change while ensuring children remain safe, supported, and heard throughout every stage of their journey.

The Role As a Social Worker within Safeguarding & Support, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload involving children in need, child protection, and court work
- Complete assessments, care planning, and direct interventions
- Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
- Deliver strengths-based and child-centred practice
- Take decisive action where safeguarding concerns arise
- Work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment focused on achieving long-term positive outcomes
About You To be considered, you will:
- Hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
- Be registered with Social Work England
- Have experience within children’s safeguarding services
- Be confident managing complex cases and risk
- Demonstrate strong assessment and communication skills
- Be committed to collaborative and inclusive practice
