About the RoleHerefordshire Community Wellbeing is actively seeking dynamic, self‑motivated, and professionally confident Social Workers to join our welcoming and supportive team. This role offers a fast‑paced and rewarding environment in Hereford City & Bromyard.

Salary: £36,363 to £40,777 + £3,000 welcome payment (see guidance).

Responsibilities- Conduct Care Act Assessments and develop person‑centred support plans
- Manage Mental Capacity Assessments and Section 42 Enquiries
- Apply a strength‑based approach to empower individuals and promote independence
- Engage in CHC and statutory 117 work to ensure seamless support
- Collaborate with partner agencies to provide holistic care
- Participate in regular supervision and pursue opportunities to specialise
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England with a qualifying degree
- Deep understanding of current legislation and guidance
- Experience working with diverse adult populations, including those with physical and learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults
- Drive to pursue additional qualifications such as Practice Education, Best Interest Assessor or Approved Mental Health Professional
- Full, clean driving licence and readiness to travel across the county
