The role is for a Lead Transport Planner with a salary range of £32,000 – £36,000. Alexander Steele Recruitment is supporting a successful FMCG business in their search for a Lead Transport Planner.
This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day planning and optimisation of a UK-wide delivery fleet, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, on time and in full.
Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day planning and optimisation of a UK-wide delivery fleet.
- Coordinate fleet movements and driver schedules to ensure deliveries are on time and in full.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently, compliant with applicable standards.
- Support route optimisation and operational improvements across the network.
